A consultation has opened on widening the Stafford Road to 3 lanes, funded by the Black Country Local Enterprise Partnership 'Local Growth Fund'.

A shared use footpath has been provided on the South side of the scheme, although this gives way to 13 side roads and junctions.

Comments so far by WoW members include :

Potential for 20mph on slip road?

With the scheme about industrial capacity, this equals jobs, which equals commuters.  Much more potential for hassle free commuting on 2 wheels.

Catering van location should not block footpath.
